Welcome to Rose McIver Online, the original fansite dedicated to kiwi actress Rose McIver since 2009. You probably know Rose from projects such as "iZombie", "Once Upon a Time", "Maddigan's Quest", and most recently Netflix's "Woke" and Netflix's "The Christmas Price" film series. Our goal is to bring you with in-depth info, the latest news, photos and media on Rose. Thank you for visiting!
Last night, a special screening of ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding’ was held at the NETFLIX Icon Building in Los Angeles, California. Rose was in attendance alongside Director John Schultz, Netflix Director of Content Acquisitions Christina Rogers and Producer Brad Krevoy, and she looked stunning! She has died her hair back to blonde, and showed off her beautiful new do at the red carpet. Our gallery has high quality photos for you – enjoy!
Hello Roses! Have you missed us? After a 5 months long break, I have decided to bring Rose McIver Online back online. Back in May it felt like it was the right decision to close the doors of Rose-McIver.com, but I’ve been missing the site too much since parting with it. Next year it’ll be 10 years since we created the very first version of the site, and despite a couple of breaks over the years, it’s been following Rose’s career from her early days in Hollywood. With iZombie going into its fifth and final season, I definitely didn’t want to miss covering the show one final time, as it has become one of Rose’s most known and loved projects to date. While I wish the show could go on, I’m really happy they were given a season to wrap up the story – and I want to say goodbye to our favorite zom-com-rom-dram by following it with you all here at the site.
I will catch up with the missing season 4 photos and screen captures of iZombie up first, as well as everything related to Rose’s upcoming film “Brampton’s Own”. But for our first update back, I’ve updated our gallery with 4 high quality photos of Rose at the Fan Expo Canada on September 1st! Check them out below, and be sure to visit us again soon for many new updates!
Hello Rose fans! Yesterday, Rose attended the Fan Expo Vancouver alongside her iZombie co-stars Rahul Kohli, Malcolm Goodwin, Robert Buckley and Aly Michalka. The greeted and took photos with fans, held an iZombie panel and signed autographs. Photos from the panel have now been added to our gallery! I won’t post photos from the photoshoots to our gallery out of respect for the people who paid to take them, but head over to our twitter account where we’ve RTed some of those who shared their photos.
Parts of the cast’s panel have also been added to YouTube. I’ve put together a playlist with all available videos so far, which you can find at the bottom of this post! I really love the cast’s chemistry, they are such a joy to watch.

It’s also a great place to buy a unique gift (or treat yourself!) with over 250,000 square feet of shopping madness.
This weekend, Rose was a guest at the Rose City Comic-Con! Thanks to Ashley Davies, we have 64 beautiful HQ photos of Rose during her panel, which you can find in our gallery. There’s not much information about Rose’s visit yet, but we’ll set up a page for the convention as soon as more is available. The convention is held in Portland, and this is what they write on their official website:
Portland’s premier pop-culture event, Rose City Comic Con is produced locally with a focus on creating a fun and friendly event for everyone! While our primary focus is that of comics, comic creators, and the creative process, Rose City Comic Con also provides its attendees with access to gaming, sci-fi, cosplay, anime, fantasy, and everything in between. Our goal is to provide you with a rewarding, fun, and family-friendly event experience.
More – yes more! – photos of Rose have been added to our gallery today, this time from Entertainment Weekly’s annual San Diego Comic-Con party. Rose sparkled at the party in a Derek Lam 10 Crosby Resort 2018 outfit, styled by Annabelle Harron. I love how she went for such a bold look for the evening, as it’s the complete opposite of the cute iZombie and TV Guide Fan Favorite panel ones. She looked amazing, and the high quality photos are a real treat. 19 photos from the party can now be found in our photo gallery, swoop in and check them out yourself…
Hello Rose fans! Following her iZombie day at the San Diego Comic-Con on friday, Rose once again appeared at the convention last night. She was a part of the TV Guide Magazine ‘Fan Favorites’ panel, along with The Magicians‘ Arjun Gupta, People of Earth‘s Ana Gasteyer, Gotham‘s Ben McKenzie, Dirk Gently‘s Alan Tudyk, Shadowhunters‘ Katherine McNamara and American Gods‘ Ricky Whittle. The group held at panel at 5:30PM in Room 6BCF (hopefully we’ll have a video soon!), and attended a joint photocall. High quality photos from both events can be found in our gallery! Rose looks beautiful in a floral print dress and dark red lipstick.
We now have the first big batch of San Diego Comic-Con photos in our gallery! It has been a busy day for Rose and her iZombie co-stars, with a fan signing, panel, appearances at the official Warner Bros. boat, the iZombie press line and more. I have added high quality photos from all the different events, as well as the first two photoshoots (there will be more!) to our photo gallery. I especially love the press line ones, which contain some adorable photos of Rose, Aly, David and Robert being their usual dorky selves! I hope to have even more for you soon.
The cast have also spent hours doing interviews with different news outlets and magazines, and I think we can expect the first videos to surface online very soon. I’ll make a separate post with all the videos we can find – stay tuned for that one later!
The iZombie panel just concluded, and it was a blast! We’ve put together all the major new particulars, for those of you who didn’t have the chance to watch the panel live. But don’t fear, the panel will most likely be uploaded online very soon – and we’ll of course share it with you once it surface. There was little information on the upcoming season, as expected, but we learned some fun information nonetheless. The cast is such a joy to watch, you can tell they really enjoy working together! And the panel has received great reviews on twitter – even people who have never seen the show applaud their amazing chemistry.
Thanks to our good friend over at C-odonoghue.com, we also have some stunning shots of Rose from the panel. We will have a lot more photos later, but check out these while you wait! Up next will be interviews, and we’ll hopefully have a lot more to share with you all later tonight.
The Panel kicked off with a good season 3 highlight reel (which you can check out in a post below!)
Rob Thomas says the discovery of zombies lets the show tell so many different types of stories in Season 4.
Rahul says that the idea of playing a zombie is tempting to him, but he is staying quiet on Ravi’s fate for season 4. He loves Ravi’s human side, and likes playing him that way.
While iZombie is a comedy show, it still comments on current situations, which Rose think is important.
Chase Graves is going to make it illegal to scratch humans and turn them into zombies
“It was really nice not to think about a dead dog” said Rose about the final Ravi and Liv scene. The emotions were real, and it was not a “Phoned-in tear”.
“I mean he still pines for her [Peyton] but I pine to be Chris Pine.” – David Anders. He also said the Peytyon/Blaine ship has sailed.
Rob Thomas said that there was a fear that bringing Clive in on secret would have them lose all Clive’s reactions to Liv’s zombie eccentricities. But he still has the best reactions!
Peyton will be busy in the court room with a lot of human vs zombie cases this coming season. Aly hopes she stays human.
Liv has a new love interest in Season 4 that Rob Thomas created JUST because of the ship name.
Aly says that Peyton will respect Chase Graves and Fillmore-Graves but will also challenge his ethics.
Aly is happy with the zombie world message in relation to what’s happening in the real world. “It says such a commentary on what’s happening in America right now.”
The whole cast agrees that the D&D episode is the most fun they’ve ever had on the show.
Rose says her Dungeon Master voice was actually inspired by someone she knows. She follows her instincts for every brain.
Rose hadn’t rehearsed her Dungeon Master voice. Cast heard it for the first time when they filmed the scene.
Rose said that because of the busy schedule, she rarely gets to really rehearse the different brain personalities.
The musical episode started out as a joke but now it’s become a thing, but only Dianne, David and Rose really want it. The cast got into a heated (but fun) discussion about whether they wanted one or not.
Rose said she’d want to sing “Potential Breakup Song” by Aly and AJ in a musical episode.
David wants a @HamiltonMusical King George song in hypothetical #izombie musical episode!
Malcolm wants Liv and Clive to come together to make a zombie cookbook
Aly advices Peyton to seek counselling, both in the men department and in the drinking department.
Robert’s advice for Major is to stop dating. Probably a good idea!
Rose has no advice for Liv other than give her mom a ring more often.
Rahul’s advice for Ravi is “Stop putting random stuff in your mouth!”
And a big announcement – Robert Knepper is Promoted to Series Regular in Season 4! As Blaine’s father.
Rahul dishes that they blew so many takes when he and Rose did the switched American and British accents scene, because it got so ridiculous.
Aly really wants to do more group scenes. We fully support this wish!
Last night, Jennifer Morrison‘s latest directorial project “Sun Dogs” premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival! Rose attended the screening with her friend Karen Gillan. As many of you know, Rose, Karen and Jennifer are all close friends, and have worked on several short films together – like “Warning Labels”. I think it’s really sweet how they support and encourage each other’s careers like this! Our gallery has been updated with several high quality photos from the event, and I’ll be adding more later today. Keep checking the album for new additions!
Hi Rose fans! In the last two days, our favorite has attended two new events – The 2017 Women In Film Max Mara Face Of The Future Award Recipient, which nontenured the winner Zoey Deutch, and the premiere of truTV’s “I’m Sorry”! Rose looked stunning at both events, and high quality photos have been added to our photo gallery. We will have several additional photos from both events up later this week, but for now, enjoy these gorgeous preliminary photos!
